Youth and Teen Treatment
Research shows, and Dr. Rudnicke’s experience confirms, that orthodontic treatment is most effective around the time of the adolescent growth spurt, when most or all of the permanent teeth have erupted.
When a child or teen requires comprehensive orthodontic care, Dr. Rudnicke and his team offer the latest in teeth correction solutions. Common teen and adolescent orthodontic issues include: tooth crowding, early or delayed tooth loss, impaction, cross-bite, open bite/tongue thrust, effects of a thumb or finger sucking habit, facial asymmetry, and even severe overbite or underbite.

Braces

Minor Tooth Movement
Sometimes only a few teeth require movement. Dr. Rudnicke utilizes a wide array of options, including invisible aligners, spring retainers and other treatments to meet your dental goals.
Scientific research on retention has shown that teeth will often drift back to starting positions. Therefore, consistent long-term use of a retainer is recommended. Both removable as well as bonded retainers (glued-in) can be used to keep teeth in place.
Jaw Surgery
Sometimes orthodontic treatment alone cannot adequately correct bite or skeletal growth disharmony. If the need for dramatic cosmetic facial change arises, Dr. Rudnicke works closely with excellent oral and maxillofacial surgeons to achieve amazing results.
